Carrot Seed:
Carrot Seed oil is full of carotenoids. Carotenoids are naturally occurring pigments made by plants. The beneficial effects of carotenoids are due to their antioxidant effects. These effects prevent to breakdown of cells by free radicals. Carotenoids also stimulate the rejuvenation of skin cells. Carrot Seed oil also has a natural SPF which boost the body’s immune response to UV rays, helping to prevent sun damage.
Lavender:
Lavender balances the oil production of the skin, making it beneficial for both oily and dry skin. Lavender aids in regulating the production of sebum. Sebum is the oily/waxy substance which the body produces to moisturize the skin. In aging/dry skin, Lavender will signal the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum thereby moisturizing the skin naturally. Lavender also promotes skin healing and rejuvenation.
